What I say about me: I am a mother of 2, stepmother of 1. I work from home and part time out of my home as a faculty member of two very large private universities. This journal is almost completely friends only because of the personal nature of the stuff that I post, the ongoing legal battle with my husband's ex, and the nature of my job (online students tend to be very adept at finding stuff online and I need to keep a certain level of professionalism with them). My life is not all that exciting and I rant an awful lot. I make no claims that any of it will interest anyone other than myself. I am not here to entertain, I am here as a way to vent and process so that I can deal with the realities of my own little corner of the universe. Nonetheless, I have been blessed enough to make some great friends who willingly come along for the ride.
Friending Policy:
If you'd like to add me, feel free, but leave a message letting me know who you are and how I know you. If we have some mutual friends in common, or I have seen you in various communities and feel that you are someone I'm interested in getting to know further, I will add you. If I don't know you at all/you don't know anyone I know/I have no way of telling if you are a troll or one of my students, etc., or if I don't believe we'll click, then I won't. Fair?
And that's pretty much all I'm comfortable saying in a public forum.
